At CTS, we strive to provide the highest-quality transcripts on the market. Accuracy and consistency are non-negotiables. This is why we include proofreading as standard on all our projects.
Once our transcriptionists complete the initial draft, it will be proofread for typos and inaudibles. Furthermore, we make it our responsibility to assign your project to transcribers that are familiar with your industry, which enables us to correctly identify terminology that would have otherwise been misheard or classified as “inaudible.”

We know it’s not always possible to send us a perfect recording. Parts of the audio may be difficult to understand due to heavy accents, non-native speakers, or overlapping speakers. When a word or phrase cannot be heard, we will do our best to determine what is being said. Our methods include performing Google searches, slowing down the audio, wearing a good-quality headset, and using specialist software to remove background noise. It is fair to say that we don’t give up easily.
However, if we have exhausted all our options, we will, unfortunately, need to use the ugly [inaudible] tag. We may also use [word] to let the client know we have made an intelligent guess and that it requires special attention.
